Larvikitt Suite

The Larvikite Suite enjoys an extremely favourable location in the outermost wing. In all our rooms you’ll find extensive use of Norway’s national rock, and as the name suggests, this suite gives the local Larvikite rock additional attention.

Larvikite is a unique species of rock that is only found in Larvik. With its characteristic silver blue Larvikite has become a global export success. Noted for its high polish and spectacular reflections from feldspars, the rock is very popular in building facades the world over. Around 400 tonnes of the rock has gone into Farris Bad alone.
